Why Join a Team?
Joining a team means actually making things, not just showing up to meetings.
Teams work on real projects that shape how IABC looks, feels, and shows up; hands-on, collaborative work you'll actually want in your portfolio.
As a team member, you will:
Contribute real deliverables that influence IABC's events, visual identity, and creative direction
Build design, marketing, and strategy skills by doing
Create alongside other people who love the craft as much as you do
Walk away with real work and experience for interviews and beyond

How do I join a team?
Because IABC is a growing organization, we use a lightweight onboarding process to help new members get involved quickly while still ensuring a good fit.
Here’s how it works:
1. Join our community space
Teams coordinate and communicate primarily through Discord (Click Here) once members are onboarded.
2. Introduce yourself
Share a short introduction so officers and team leads can get to know your interests and background.
3. Express your team interest
Let an officer know which team you’re interested in joining and how you’d like to contribute.
A team lead or officer will follow up with next steps and onboarding details.
